Math Skills & Storytelling
We will begin our day with the younger class as older students will have the opportunity to take leadership roles by helping guide younger students through the calendar, weather, and daily routines. Students will then rotate through engaging small-group activities designed to strengthen foundational skills. Through interactive math games, students will practice and improve basic math facts while developing problem-solving strategies. In the storytelling portion of the class, students will use fun props, creative challenges, and imaginative activities to develop storytelling skills, vocabulary, and confidence in sharing their ideas. Great storytelling develops great writing. This hands-on class combines academics, creativity, and collaboration in a fun environment where students learn through play, exploration, and teamwork.
